Harsh Patel, invited to lead the GOA team, at the DWELL 2015. An initiative of the Charles Correa Foundation, ‘DWELL’ is a workshop for Architects, Designers and Students of Architecture and Design to instigate thought on mitigating increasing urban densities especially in the context of housing. The 2015 Edition of 'DWELL' departed from the 2014 edition, which addressed the idea of 'Density', and proposed to look at the city from the perspective of the 'Un-Designed' – the eclectic urban reality of India which includes a powerful parallel system that operates beyond the predictable.

Bhavana Hameed worked jointly with CLUSTER, participating in their projects and sharing her experiences at the Charles Correa Foundation with them on her two week trip to Cairo.
CLUSTER — Cairo Laboratory for Urban Studies, Training and Environmental Research is an organisation that is dedicated to investigating new approaches that would generate alternative modes of urban development in Cairo with sustainability as the key focus. Founded by Omar Nagati and Beth Stryker, CLUSTER studio operates out of Downtown Cairo with a team of 15 to 20 architects and urban researchers.

ETH Studio Basel published the book 'The Inevitable Specificity of Cities' which is a compilation of student works and others on research conducted in 8 selected cities.

Bhavana Hameed presented her research work on the Ancient Medina of Casablanca (Morocco) which was conducted by the Basel Studio of ETH University followed by her experience while travelling on a two month backpacking trip through the labyrinths and covered alleys of Morocco with her husband - Harsh.
The presentation was held at Charles Correa Foundation Studio, Panjim on Saturday, 25th April 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Talk by Harsh Patel on 'Evolving a Type and Translating it into a Built Form'
The talk was aimed at understanding the development of an architectural type and allowing the final constructed form to take shape based on various external constraints specific to the project - elaborated through examples taken from personal works.
